We have a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer – Serviceability within our Service Operations department. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving skills, and several years experience as a technical lead and a high level of personal accountability. This role will work closely with vehicle engineering, Service Team, Service Support Manager, diagnostics, troubleshooting serviceability challenges from a mechanical point of view.. Design Engineer: LaJoy Group Inc

This person will implement design from conception to production utilizing solid modeling and other CAD tools and will take minor engineering responsibility.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Create study layout using CAD based on Japanese OEM design layout. (Honda, Nissan)

2. Create drawings on specification drawing, proposal drawing, parts drawing, assembly drawing, assembly step drawing, and color chart drawing. Decide structure against specification.

3. Check contents of specification drawings.

4. Attend design review meetings, FMEA, production system check meeting and other valuation meeting with state opinion.

5. Implement design based engineering under the direction of the group leader and Sr. project engineer.

6. Finalize the design for mass production based on engineering analysis, testing, cost analysis and manufacturing ability.

7. Generate the drawing for prototyping and mass production.

8. Maintain design release information, including constantly updating drawings, making design notice, maintaining computer database under the direction of the project engineer.

Process Engineer: LaJoy Group Inc

The Process Engineer (PE) is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the existing and new processes, including plant layout, process flow, manufacturing methods and equipment.

Analyses production equipment requirements and recommends purchasing of capital equipment. Involved or leading the procurement of new equipment and the integration in the manufacturing process. Supports and may lead the APQP process and activities to continously improve performance.
